·         Clean and prep nail using Zoya Remove +
·         Magic Time! Apply 1 thin coat of Zoya PixieDust to each nail  - allow to dry completely (will appear matte with sparkle).
·         Apply an 1-2 coats of polish (allowing each to dry) as desired. We suggest 2-3 thin coats of Zoya PixieDust for a full coverage manicure.
·         That’s it - Done! You now have the latest textured nail look in the famous long-wearing, Big5Free Zoya PixieDust Nail Polish formula!

Best results are achieved by using the product alone. No basecoat or topcoat required. Layering of the Zoya PixieDust formulation with other polishes may produce less than desirable results.

Make a Minty Spectacle

Oh, how I love greens.... and I've been lucky that most of them don't give me lobster hands. Here we have two coats of Zoya's Neely from their new LOVELY Collection. It's such a pretty, creamy color. After it dries, it's not so minty and more-so a light jade. Very nice and slightly muted. I covered two of my nails with Make a Spectacle by China Glaze (two coats). What do you think?

I present to you....SquareHue

I've recently discovered and had the honor of reviewing SquareHue nail polish.  It's a monthly nail polish subscription service (how cool is that?) that allows you to stay "in the know" when it comes to polish trends and get this:  part of the proceeds go to charity!!! Fashionable AND do-gooders all in one.

It’s simple.  Once you subscribe, you'll get three nail polishes delivered to your door every month; and they give to organizations dedicated to helping others. Their current focus is on human trafficking.  *in love*

On to the review!

First we have Champagne Toast.  Exactly what it is.  A champagne frost.  Don't need to concern yourself with streaks.  It applies perfect and opaque in two coats.

Holly Berry is so vibrant, it GLOWS.  It's a bright, believe it or not, red jelly with tons of red microshimmer.  Simply lovely.  (Please don't mind the cuticles... Lissi is usually the one that does the swatching.  My apologies.)

Last, but certainly not least, my favorite... Sugar Plum.  Why?  Cuz it's PURPLE!  Hel-lo?  Do you girls not know me at all?  Beautiful, striking purple, also with a jelly-like consistency, which you all know how shiny jelly finishes are... and to add to that awesomeness, tons of magenta microshimmer.

I went almost four full days before getting noticeable tip wear with these and for a single mother of two, that's a God-send.  Application was pretty good.  The brush is on the short side and it offers good control; but being shorter you need to watch out for cuticle drag seeing as you don't have full brush length to cover the entire nail bed in one stroke.  Obviously, the brush is shorter because the bottle is perfectly square, but come on, it's just too cute to pass up.

You can check out SquareHue here.  Ahhhh!  Nail polish and giving to charity... just in time for the holidays.  ::love::

These products were sent to us for review.

Inky Combo...

This turned out to be such a pretty combination.  Not very festive, but still Winter worthy considering it's dark and vampy.  This is two coats of Midnight Ride by China Glaze and one coat of Orly's Fowl Play on ring fingers.  Midnight Ride is like a shimmery eggplant.  Gorgeous.  Fowl Play has glitter, microglitter and duochrome flakes in shades of red, blue, irrisdecent silver... all in a purple jelly.  It's beautiful and a must have.  And as usual, no formula problems and I topped it all off with Seche Vite

Snowflakes in Miami

Snowflakes in Miami...or as close to snow as we might get anyway.  For those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope it was absolutely wonderful.  Now, Christmastime is around the corner.  Where DOES the year go?  Anyway, let the holiday nail designs begin, right?  I've seen so many pretty designs, I dont know where to start.  I had my kids this weekend so this mani took me a while, but I finally got around to it.  Whenever the girls see me doing my nails, they want theirs done too.  *rolls eyes*

This is two coats of Snowcone by Orly.  One of my favorite blues.  I've had my bottle like three years and it's still good as new.  No formula issues, ever.  Then I took the snowflake images from Konad plate m59 to stamp using Ibiza from Zoya, Millennium by China Glaze and Konad Special White.  Pretty, no?

Zoya Kalista

This week I bring you Kalista by Zoya, a lovely, gorgeous dark brown with bronze microshimmer.  Two great coats as Zoya never disappoints.  Then I used the leafy vine image from image plate 50 from Mash using 2030 by China Glaze.  What do you think?  Suitable for Thanksgiving, right?  I hope you all have a great holiday!!!

Glittering Fall Leaves

I'm in a Fall kinda mood but wanted to avoid the dreaded neutral browns and the like.  Although I love those shades, they make my super pale/pink undertone skin look horrible.  Instead, I came up with this look.  Two coats of Glittering Garland (a gorgeous green jelly with tons of microglitter in gold tones) by China Glaze and 2030 for the stamp.  I used Bundle Monster's B04 image plate.

What are you guys thinking for Fall?  Any looks you love to recreate?  I cant even believe Thanksgiving is next week.  Where did the year go?

 Happy Polishing.

Armed and Ready for Fall...

Well, at least whatever you can consider Fall when you live in Miami (Florida).  No snow ever and our cold fronts consist of 48 degrees.  LOL

This is two coats of Armed and Ready by Essie.  A new favorite of mine, and cant you see why?  It's freakin' gorgeous!!!  It's like a deep olive with bronze microshimmer.  I cant tell you how much I love it.  Application was great too.  Then I used 2030 by China Glaze to stamp on the plaid image from Mash 50 plate.

Happy Polishing!
