I have fallen in love... with Crystal!

Hey Ladies!

How is everyone? I couldn't be happier (in the polishing world). I got a totally unexpected package today! I saw "Art of Beauty" on the box but my mind never fully registered that it was a box from Zoya. I opened it and... SURPRISE! Zoya sent me the Intimate Collection for review! THANK YOU ZOYA! I tried to swatch them last night but it was my turn to cook at home and I didn't have the time to swatch them all. Plus I rather not rush it and end up posting crappy pictures. So you'll be seeing a Zoya polish today but not from the Intimate Collection. However, I will be posting those first thing Monday morning so be sure to check back!

Today I have Zoya's Crystal from the Flame Collection. I fell IN LOVE with this polish when I saw it on Lacquerized's blog (here). This color is so gorgeous and so unique! I had never seen anything like this before. Zoya describes Crystal as a shiny blue metallic foil with sparks of brilliant yellow gold (here). This blue color is so icy! It's a dream! The gold glitter (or are they flecks?) are difference sizes. The best part is that the finish is NOT like the typical glitter packed polish... a lumpy textured finish. The finish with Crystal is nice and smooth. That alone made me happy because I hate having to put 2 coats of topcoat on a glitter polish just to fill it in and end up with a smooth finish. The formula is great. I used 3 coats for full coverage just to be safe.

I don't know what else I can say about this polish except: It's gorgeous! I really really really love it! I think this is a polish that should be in everyone's stash regardless of whether you own 3 bottles or 300 bottles!

Anyone else share my feelings on this one?

Happy Polishing!

-Lissi

This is so pretty! I can't decide if it's blue or teal or turquoise or what but it's unique.
